Hi

Can anyone help me with what my "kick up" height would be for my roof for the eaves tiles.
I have the pitch at 49degrees and will be using small format Redland plain concrete tiles.

I will be installing the top surface of the facia board above the top of the rafter to provide the kick.
I will also be using 10mm over facia vents so will of course need to take this into account.

Regards

Put an eaves and first row tile on, then second row tile and third. Push the eaves tile up until the first tile edge aligns with the two tiles above it. Measure the distance above the rafter.

No, the ofv adds approx 25 mm as it protrudes in front of the fascia which actually adds kick. Obvious when you offer it up.
If you set the fascia with 25 mm upstand measured on the inner side , the add the ofv it'll be close enough

Cool understood so we are actually closer to 50mm
My ofv are arriving shorty. Once they arrive i'm sure it will become clear.

Thanks for the response.

You want to try explaining that to folk working in a builders merchants. Especially those merchants that insist on changing suppliers every three months.
