Just registered on this site and I'm in need of a bit of help... ;)

I'm looking to install a Fan Assisted Oven and I have been told by some that it can go into a 13Amp Socket :) but I have been told by others that it MUST be isolated and connected via 6mm cable and so on

Can anyone put me straight on this...

Ta...

P.S. If it can go into the Scoket - would it make a difference if it was a spur Socket :?:

Stay Crispy

ouir fan assited oven just plugs in to a normal socket, but then it is a gas fan assited oven.

If your is as ours (gas) then ordainiry plug is fine, if electric oven then no.

Thanks Breezer...

I suppose I should have said that it was an electric oven

As is it just an oven - the hob is gas - and the oven is just over 2Kw, can it be pluged into the 13Amp Ring Main??

Sorry to go on - but I need to make sure I get this right.
