Fan oven element

my daughter's diplomat ADP3710 oven element has gone. I have just renewed my own (belling) with no problem. On the belling the element is secured by a centre screw, but on the diplomat there are three small securing clamps round the coil which i thought once removed would allow the element to be withdrawn, but it won't budge. I am now wondering if it secured from the back somehow ??
any help would be appreciated

some of these elements are indeed fixed from the rear (have found that even on the same model front and rear fixing elements have been used).

Occasionally the element has just corroded in place but for the sake of a few minutes I would remove the back panel and just check to make sure it is not snagged etc

Make sure all the power to the cooker is off first though.
