We recently had our bathtub reglazed and it looks great. The issue I am having is the copper pipe for the bathtub faucet is only 4 inches or so out of the wall - thus when we turn it on water runs out of the tap and the back of the tap at the same time. The tub is drywallled in so access is limited to the back of the tub. Is there anyway to fix this problem?
I am using half inch copper pipe - thus a coupler would not work as the new faucet would not slide onto the pipe.
