faulty indicator on Vauxhall Astra

hello friends,

since two days ago i started having problems with the right indicator only.

the indicator starts going very fast if, at the same time as indicating right:

1) i press the brake pedal
2) if i put the rear fog lights on

the back right indicator fades out when the rear fog lights are on (i checked it myself), i'm sure it does the same with the brake pedal.

any ideas on a solution please

Likely to be a bad earth or bad connection in one of the multiplugs, switches or relays serving the affected lights. It’s a case of carefully checking each of these items until you find the culprit. You might strike lucky or it could take a while! I would start by checking for continuity between the negative of your battery terminal and the negatives in the affected light clusters and connectors. A digital multimeter would be useful for this.

yeah,check the rear light cluster connections first for signs of corrosion
