i might be giving my age away here. But When i was in my late teens i used to own a Vauxhall Velox.6 cylinder job,Bench seat, column gear change, all the chrome furniture..and then i moved onto the ford Zephyr.-ford Zodiac...now i'm not taking nothing away from modern cars. Some are good-some are crap...But i really used enjoy driving them babie's,they was so relaxing and comfortable...(petrol was 70p a gallon) about 12 bob in old money...

did you have a favourite car....?

Not completely sure if this type of car was known over here, but this one was always my favourite: handy, reliable, not larger then a VW bug but much more loading space and you could park this one eally in the tiniest spot (well, at least I could)

Not so sure I would trust a Dutch person's idea of a good car, didn't they produce the Daf 33, an awful car with a belt-driven gearbox? :D

Now you're talking! Fasted car around (if driving backwards, that is).

Volvo when buying over DAF thought they also bought the variamatic transmission, but alas, that was a separate company.

My parents used to drive DAF's, from the old Variamatic to the DAF66 on.
Great times, always upfront in a traffic jam ;)

Well, I hope it means "shagging wagon" not "poo wagon."

(neither for me)

the lady driver doesn't seem to be visible in the pic, perhaps she's leant down to get something.

I believe the passenger's brother works in the Airplane business.

My favourite had to be the Alfasud I inherited from my grandfather.

1300 Flat four was ins group 6 back then top of the shop because it went like stink!
