hi
I have just purchased all the material required for a 1.8m featheredge fence. I will be using cant rails rather than arris rails.
The cant rails are 47mm thick and need to be screwed into 100mm fence posts.
What screws should i use for this? I was told by someone to use coach bolts but am thinking that the featheredge wont sit right over the section where the coach bolts are - as they arent countersunk.
I've also seem Timberfix Exterior wood screws (Timberfix® Plus Exterior Timber Screws 6.3 x 100mm Pk50) that are meant to be good for joists and fencing.
Or can i just use any coutnersunk external wood screw?
