Hi there.

Planning to fit a filter on the central heating this weekend. Can anyone advise or reccommend the Tf 1 or the compact which are both the same price at screwfix.

Thanks for any advice.

Magnabooster 3 (MB3)

Used to love the TF1 and fitted loads. Most leaked if disturbed after a year and three leaked out the box

MB3 is all brass not plastic

Use TF1 all the time. No problems.
Some remove the large section head and have problems re-sealing them. You have no reason to remove tis section ever. Annual cleaning of the filter is done using the bottom screw off section in the process clearly described in the instructions.
Great bit of kit.

Thanks both for your views. The TF 1 seems to be more readily available and at a good price so and looks easy to fit according to you tube. Regards
