Help please , I have a Ferroli 901 combi boiler that won't run the Central Heating.
When I put the setting to C/H the boiler fires, runs for 30 sec then trips out , taking all of the gas off ( including the pilot light). The boiler hisses and knocks, before tripping out and the pressure gauge leaps about
When restarting, the pump runs for a bit, then the fan kicks in and then we can restart the whole episode again.
If I leave just on DHW, all is well, but occassionally it trips out the heating, leaving us with cold water. If I turn off the tap and restart all is well.
Please can you help with any ideas, the boiler is 12 years old this year
