Hi,
I have a Ferroli Combi 77FF works perfectly when using it for hot water no problems at all. It rests at 1 bar but once the central heating is turned on unless we keep the temp way down below normal the pressure rockets up most i let it go to was about 3.5bar. Is there anyway I can get the pressure down without leaving the temp of the heating all the way down as the rads are only just getting warm.
Or is this another job for super plumb! It has had the fan replaced and thermocouple in the last year.
Regards
Simon

Sounds like you need a new expansion vessel.
Sometimes easier to fit one remotely and also cheaper.

Many thanks ill bear that in mind, i was going to have it serviced and see what they say,but am slightly wary of our chap that has done it considering he charged my wife over £120 for a thermocouple alone...when we had the fan replaced it was £80.....Especially as I bought one for £5 and fitted it previously.

may only require recharging the pressure vessel - see FAQs
