I use Firefox 3, I find it is a bit memory hungry, so I don't leave it running for hours on end, other than that it is good.

Firefox does seem to have a memory leak, but I still prefer it to IE.

I recently tried firefox 3 but find it irritating because of some HCI issues and because it doesnt render things correctly. I switched back to IE; it loads quickly, renders correctly, is more pretty and more effort has gone into designing the UI

up and running on firefox 3, i find it a lot smoother than I.E.,pages load a lot quicker,the only issue i had was you've got to go into java(control panel) and put a tick in the box for mozilla to get on u-tube....otherwise so far so good.

I doubt I will ever go back to IE.

firefox3 better than IE7 for windows?
well, that just depends what your used to really, i personally like IE7 better than firefox (no lets not debate it )

firefox3 for freebsd or linux better than the millions of others?
yes its proberly the best in my eyes, but yet again its what your used to and personal taste.

so basicly,
they both do the same job, both have the pros and cons, so it depends what your used to and what you like best really.

only been on ff3 a couple of days and have no issues at the moment,it's running fast and smooth,that's if you disable auto pager.....This morning i get an update from M$ asking me to go on IE 8, They claim it's faster-smoother- more secure-and blah blah blah....oh choices it's an hard life isn't it.....

Apparently in FF3 there is a secret mode (porn mode) that does not in any way track what sites you have visited.
