Got a 3x4 room that used to be our kitchen to plaster. Was gonna get someone in but it's a busy time of year and getting high quotes for spreads to do it over the weekend so thought I may as well have a crack.
Got a new fitted wardrobe which is currently bare plasterboard and was just going to fill and paint but that's now going to be my practice canvas.
The walls in the old kitchen are a bit rough as you can imagine. Some bits that were down to bare brick have been brought to level with bonding.
The bit I'm not sure about is I have a few islands of plaster behind where the tiles used to be surrounded by areas down to the original bonding coat. Loose bits have been removed. Should I level this off with bonding? Multifinish? Or just skim over and make it thicker over the bonding?
Hope that makes sense.
Cheers,
Dan
