Yes, there are radio ones (doorbell on a_crappy door, technology)
Or you can leave existing timer for HW if you have one, and put in a radio programmable room thermostat. Suits most people and a much cheaper option.

thanx chris but I need a modern digidal programmer ,with more than 2 setings @ day, to fit my Kingfisher 60.
I saw one mentioned (P.No.5107754) but cannot find the shop that sell it.
