I am fitting a 9.5kw shower and have the following questions

1.Does shower unit itself require supplementary bonding.

2.I am fitting the shower in a separate shower cubicle. I have sited a 45Amp double pole ceiling switch, but have realised that it is possible for someone standing in bath to just touch switch body (plastic bath & plastic pipes). I assume I should move switch to somewhere that its impossible to reach when user is in either bath or shower.

3.I am fitting a secondary consumer unit shower kit containing the mcb & rcd unit.Unsure where to make connections i assume as follows please confirm.
feed to shower:- live into mcb , earth & neutral into respective terminal blocks.
feed from sealed unit live & neutral into rcd
earth to terminal block. (I intend to get this side carried out by an electrician).

4. Can an electrician uprate the size of my main fuse or does this have to carried out by the electricity company.

Many thanks :?:

The shower or the circuit supplying the shower will require local supplementary bonding to the cpc's of all circuits supplying equipment in zones 1,2&3 and extraneous conductive parts in zones 1,2&3. Your main eq bonding should also be verified.

If the body of the switch is in zone 3 or beyond it is OK (the pullcord can enter zones 1&2.)

I don't mean to sound harsh but I think you may be better getting an electrician in, installing a new circuit, installing a shower in a special location are notifiable to LABC under part p of the building regs.
4. Can an electrician uprate the size of my main fuse or does this have to carried out by the electricity company.
Only the electricity company can do this.
