Hi,
I'm looking for some advice on fitting an outdoor tap. The fitting kit I bought recommends running the pipe from the kitchen tap cold pipe, but I do not intend to put the tap outside the kitchen (which is at the back of the house) but around the side of the house instead. The two options I have are to either tap into the mains water pipe that runs from the pavement at the front of the house, underneath the path round the side of the house where i intend to put my tap, then carries on under the path to the stopcock in the kitchen round the back. The only thing on the inside of the wall round the side is the boiler.
I'm not sure if either would be suitable to run an oudoor tap off, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
