Hi I am about to embark on fitting my Hive Thermostat to the above boiler. There is currently no existing thermostat in the house, but the boiler does have a built in timer. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or has already fitting one to this boiler so that when I connect the receiver, it will work correctly.

Thanks in advance.

In the boiler you should have a terminal block where the mains supply comes in. At the opposite end of the terminal block there should be two terminals numbered 1 & 2 with a link between them.

If you don't find this report back what you do have.

If you do have this arrangement, then

1. Remove the link
2. Connect terminal 1 at the boiler to the hive 'Common' terminal (1)
3. Connect terminal 2 at the boiler to the hive 'Heating on' terminal (3)
4. The Hive N & L connect to the Boiler N & L

The existing integral timer set to be permanently 'on'

Hi Stem,

I will photograph the block for you, but that was what I thought it be, having researched it extensively on Google. However it is better to be safe then sorry. Thanks for your quick reply.
