Hi, i want to fit an outdoor socket to a rear wall in my house. Is it just a case of taking a feed from a socket in the room, drilling through the wall and fitting a waterproof socket. I assume i will need one with a circuit breaker. Any good links to suitable units from mail order suppliers in the UK would be greatly appeciated...........Neal

You will need waterproof one with RCD protection if the circuit you are coming off has no RCD protection.

MK Masterseal are very good, but pricey.

Aquatec 56 slightly lesser build quality, but lesser price.

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

If you don't mind grey, eBay is awash with them all the time.

White ones? Like rocking-horse sh**.

White MK stocked nationally by Neweys, available next day to any branch. Looks strange when you are used to the grey :)

Have had loads of white stuff recently including flush plaster and tile mount boxes and flush partition boxes, rear entry boxes, 2 gang and 1 gang switches, all in white.
