Hi all
I have a glowworm spacesaver II boiler currently controlled by a wickes multi choice programmer, which is in the kitchen near the boiler. I would like to add a room stat in the living room but would rather not start chasing walls to fit a wired one so am considering a wireless stat. Is it possible to fit one that will work in conjunction with the existing programmer or would I be better off getting one that is programmable and controls the hot water as well? If I go for the latter, does the receiver simply replace the programmer or is it a bit more involved than that?

Thanks

Perfectly ok to fit one to your present system
Reciever unIt has its own live and neutral
Then the wire from your heating on terminal of clock goes to common (live in) connection of reciever unit and on the out terminal the wire goes to heating motorised valve live
