Fixing Wall Top

In my garden I have a retaining wall running round.

On top ofthe wall are coping slabs. 3 of them have come loose. I have no idea what to do.

I will need some cement? sand? water

I hav attached a picture, any ideas?

clean off all the old mortar from the wall and the slab and relay them with 3 building sand to 1 cement mix.

Be careful when pointing them not to get wet mortar on the face as it looks like riven sandstone and it will stain it a bit.

Thanks for that, should I chisel the old stuff off?
How much mix do I need to buy?

Yes chisel the old off but use a small sharp chisel and be gentle so you don't dislodge any bricks. a premixed 25kg bad would do but all the premixed will be 4 or 5 to 1 so better to buy 1 25kg bag of building sand and 1 of cement.
