Flat roof cost

We have had a quote for flat roofing of a 36 sqare metre roof; they are

£1200 for a 3 felt flat roof (£33 / sq metre)
or
£1500 for a asphalt roof. (£41 / sq metre)

Is this reasonable???

Which is better in terms of longevity of life???

A pitch roof would be better if possible.

Doesn't matter, the boarding would not be removed only a section where the wallplate is.
