My flat roof is coming toward the end of its life. I have seen there are new fibre glass roofs now available which come with guarantees of 20 years or more , my predicarment is do I keep flat roof with one of these or do I renew roof with a pitch and fit tiles. The cost it appears is quite similar any ideas..would my house be more saleable with tiles..

Yes, check with your building control, no drawing is needed. Normally a pitch roof must be no higher than 4 metre and 3 metre for a flat roof.

Yes because of maintenance free compared to flat roof problem.

We have recently replaced our flat roof with a GRP one. We have had nothing but problems with it due to leaks. It must be done on a day when it is perfectly dry and unfortunately it rained when ours was replaced so it never cured. I would go for the tiles!!
