Was in ASDA once and the guy in front had 3 video recorders, such a long time ago), on the belt, (yes it was a conveyor belt! 
), as the girl passed them across the scanner she said something about 'weren't you in before buying some of these?
He said yes, at £9.99 they were a bargain.'
She called the supervisor over and questioned the price, (why she didn't question them the first time is beyond me). Supervisor checked and said they couldn't sell them to him as the price should have been £99.99
He argued that they had to sell them to him at the price they were marked up at and as the girl had put the money in the till they had accepted his payment, (the till drawer was still open).
Short work to quickly change the labelling on the shelf but not before he admitted these 3 made 12 he had got!
