I am installing a new floating floor. 75mm Insulation with 75mm screed on top. I am then going to install a quarter turn staircase on this floor. Does anyone know if I should cut out the insulation beneath where the centre newal post and bottom post and step will stand and increase the screed thickness to provide extra support or is it OK to put the staircase on the 75mm screed over insulation
