Hi all, I have had a pipe come apart in my loft over my boiler. The jet of water hit something upstairs causing the rcd to trip before the water got to the boiler. (phew!) The water has pretty much dried up except for behind the control board. And if I look from the front there is water inside the display. Is there a "trade tip" to speed up the drying process, or is it just a when it dries it dries scenario. Bit cold without the heating at the moment.

I have a dehumidifier in the boiler cupboard since it happened

Only thing that may work is a hairdryer, on a cool setting. I have had the tiniest drop of water on a pcb before now (couldn’t see it) and it blew the board, so wouldn’t hold your breath.
