I have an old pair of KEF Code 9.2 Floor standers. These are 2 way. The main speaker is 6.5", the tweeters are dead I think (or maybe its the cross over).

In my Motohome Peugeot BOXER (2013 HDI based) there is a radio that looks like this, so its not going to be easy to upgrade.

The door speakers are 6.5". I'm assuming the standard boxer speakers are poo, is it worth harvesting the KEF speakers and trying to fit them in the door? Or wont it work?

Or wont it work?

Not well, no. The output will be pretty poor.

Your vehicle speakers will be 4 Ohms, those speakers are probably 16 Ohms, it should say on the back somewhere.

Speakers intended for vehicle use are likely to have cone suspension designed to cope with the vibration associated with the motion of the vehicle.

also speakers that work well resonating through a cabinet and building structure
may not give good results through a thin panel or door card and metal structure
