I'm wondering and confusing myself with too much thinking about what is the best way to fix flush beams on top of my new lean-to/sun room.

If I was just using blocking between joists then I'd offset them to make it easy to nail or screw each one, however, every other one of my joists is being supported with a hanger on the flush beams, so I can't offset them.

Is there a handy bracket for this sort of thing (show circled in red)? Or Will I just have to hit angled nails in?

Thanks,
Carl.

Skew screw them in place.

The one disadvantage with skewed fixings is they can push or pull the workpiece in a certain direction so it pays to start a screw on the opposite side and get it to bite before fully fixing his oppo'.
