Ford Fiesta 1.3 Endura - What part I do need?

My Fiesta's been over revving and ideling at 2000rpm a lot lately. I cleaned out the idle control valve to no effect. I then discovered a breather pipe going into the oil cap has disconnected and there is a sort of elbow joint missing, somebody told me it could be the PCV valve?

I have managed to get it mostly connected although some air is still getting in, it now idles at around 1100rpm which is a lot better but still way of the 800 it should be.

Any ideas?

It also over revs when you dip the clutch when slowing down, it also over revs when changing gear. What could this be?

get the air leak sorted first. If that doesnt fix it then clean out the throttle body with some carb cleaner

My 1997 fiesta started the revving when you put your foot on the clutch...we took it to the garage to get fixed. They said the figures on the 'on board computer' were all out causing the revving...it has been fine since then.
