hi can someone please help me i changed the egr valve and and still when driving the car is loosing power for a split second and the battery light is comming on and the last time the symbol in the car that came on was powertrain warning lamp vehicles with 5 speed manual transmission durashift EST please guide me in the wright driction

Would you have a loose/bad connection around the battery or alternator? Worth checking the earth points

I'd have to run a mile from EST shifting, but I'd suggest a chat with Ford who could possibly interrogate the gearbox computer for faults.
What I think is happening is that the engine momentarily drops power (intentional) but instead of applying it again is actually stalling the motor.
