My friend has a Ford Ka. With the old Kent engine. A spark plug has seized in the head. Terrified it will snap off in the head if I apply to much pressure. Any ideas. Thanks

warm up the engine thoroughly and have another go or spray some wd40 down there when its cold, failing that hope and pray

Too late now for you,but spark plugs should not be screwed in dry.A smear of copperslip on the threads will prevent thread siezure problems.
Try heating the area round the plug with a gas blowlamp, and periodically during heating, dribble some "plus-gas"onto the plug.Keep alternately heating, then "plus-gas",then have a go with a socket until it moves.
If the worst comes to the worst,it isn't a big job to get the head off a kent.Smash the porcelain until you have a hollow tube remaining, then cut or grind(have you got a dremmel?) a split in the body.It should then wind out.
