I have a Ford Mondeo on a 54 plate its the Ghia X TDCi 78k miles. When i accelerate the revs seem to float about by this I mean the rev counter instantly moves higher but the car does not accelerate for a few seconds. About 3k miles ago it had a replacement turbo which the company wouldnt pay for a new one so they had a reconditioned one fitted, I mention this because as I think it could have something to do with the turbo?
fortunately its a company car, you say slipping clutch but I never said its as I change gear, I noticed it mainly on the motorway when I was in 6th gear, does that change your opinion?
