I've come a little unstuck forming the valleys on my extension and unsure what my next move should be.

Little unsure what to do after the small truss, should I just frame onto the sarking (follow the pink string)so the sarking can be secured to this?
and should I put timber between the truss ends to enable the lower edge of the sheet to be secured to this? or am I being to fussy!!
The valleys will be lead with a redland dry ridge and double roman tiles.
Finally I notice the builders here put a black plastic not unlike DPC along the valley length approx 200mm each side of the trough, and held in place with staples, any ideas what this could be?
