Thanks to you both MMJ and Masona.
Still no joy :cry: as it will not allow picture to be inserted in the first part.
The picture option is unshaded wherever I put the cursor. Do I have to change something to enable the picture option to work?

shouldnt this be in software ?

Just thought, you have to have email set up in RTF 'rich text format' or HTML 'Hyper Text Mark-up Language' for it to work.

On the Outlook Express window, click on 'Tools' then select 'Options' from the drop down:

Now click on the 'Send' Tab and the following will be displayed:

Now, change the 'Mail Sending Format' selection button to HTML.

Now you can go back to my earlier tutorials to add amusing emoticons to your emails!
