@JohnD - Those are not examples of parents that can't afford to feed their children, those are examples of people that shouldn't be parents.

@ImayKnow - Ironically doesn't know, child benefits, child tax credits, I call bull that anyone in the UK can't afford to feed their children properly, when people in the past could do so with less, when food cost more.

That they choose not to is another matter, and it's stupid to argue in favour of this policy based upon that.

there are inadequate parents around who for one reason or another might not feed their children properly and might not pay for a school meal.

the words "can't afford" do not appear.

You could do with getting to know our own area AS and some of its social issues rather than wearing blinkers.
