Friedland alarm

I have a Friedland SK2 silver wirefree alarm and had it for nearly four years without any problems, However in the last couple of weeks it has started putting itself into service mode, I have to now keep checking it and putting it back into operating mode, I have changed all the batteries but got no joy, Any ideas
