Front Door Window House Number Sign

Hi,

I have recently replaced the cracked window above my front door with a clear pane of glass. I wish to put the number of the house (77) onto this window using a gold coloured transfer.

I have tried in vain to locate a company that would be able to sell me two gold transfers which I could easily apply to the inside of the window, with no luck.

My house is c 100 years old.

Can anyone help??

Transfers have all but disappeared. The traditional way was actually to mask off the area of the numbers and transfer gold leaf (gilding), but there are very few signwriter's left who can do this. So why not ring round the local sign firms and see who can supply self-adhesive gold vinyl foil numbers? That's what most businesses use these days.
