Frozen Pop-Up

Recently a green bordered "Privacy & Transparency" pop-up has appeared on opening DIY not forum. It does not respond to clicking on "Continue with recomended cookies" and no further progress is possible.
I am using an old (V9) ipad for this purpose that has been OK previously, and an alternative Widows10 PC is OK..
Has anything changed at the server end?

I had the same problem this week while trying to get into the site. This was on Firefox. I had to sign in to the site via Edge. It may have been my Firefox Privacy Add Ons. I am not sure.

This is still not solved and I cannot get past the pop-up so can't continue into the forums. Others seem to be having problems also related to this pop-up.

Use vivaldi. It blocks youtube ads and other stuff. I don't have pop ups.
