Ideal Mexico2 RS60 old as dirt - but pristine... Satchwell room thermostat older than dirt... standard radiator valves... Gas hob : Elec oven. Mira gravity fed shower. Danfoss RAVI simple non-electric HW cylinder thermostat (that functions really well).

Considering change of supplier BG is £200 p/a cheaper than AEG in our area... But AEG could be due a price cut, they are more expensive than many right now.

Elec - £27 per month

with the gas savings in the summer tend to get used up in the winter, usually get a small rebate on the electric.

Having read previous posts, I feel a bit better about my leccy bill now.

Just before chrimbo, I installed an electric boiler in my barn conversion with 8 rads, since then we've used about £450 worth of leccy (only form of energy we use).

I think it's very expensive, but at least we've been warm for once.

But we're catching up a bit from when we moved in and the bills were underestimated so these should come down soon

2 bed flat, just talked them down to £75/month for both from £106/month..
I live alone and use my laptop and telly a lot, cook on gas hob once a day and electric oven maybe twice a week..
don't drink tea so no kettle every half hour.

Breakdown means I should pay about £40 a month. (Scottish Power/Manweb)

Gas is working out at £52.40 a month. (British Gas).

Phone this month, £47.40. (Usually about £55 Virgin media)
