Nope, you can claim some money for your expenses but it's trivial and almost no one bothers.

Yet if your on Universal Credit (and as such not working) you get oodles for doing nothing.

I miss pulling the team in to room and brain storming ideas, or simply wondering round to someones desk for a chat.

Depends on what the chat is about.

I for one do not miss "the chat" about the state of the communal kitchen, that no one empties the dishwasher, that they wouldn't live like that in their own home, and so on and so forth.......
