Fused Socket for alarm - can I run some lights from it?

Hi,

Under the stairs I have an alarm system that is connected to a fused socket. I would like to add a couple of led lights and a motion sensor to this room so i'm not constantly banging my head. Can I simply wire in the lights from this socket or is it a bit more involved (3 light fittings).

You could do that.

I'd advise a switch rather than a PIR.
