Floor is currently just concrete, not exactly the most even in places and obviously constantly dusty - but i was going to get some cheapo offcut of lino and put it down just as a covering - never drive into it.

Does it need to be stuck down though, as i dont want it to be ball to take out in the future but dont want it to be lumping up all over the place after a few months wear..Anything need to go under it aswell?

Alternatively any other ideas of what to stick or do on the floor?

walter - use garage floor paint (made by International you can get it in B&Q or Screwfix). Vacumn the floor of dust, then apply the paint with a roller ... you'll maybe need two coats. I did the concrete floor in my home workshop maybe 10 years ago and it still looks fine.
