To build a garage wall would using these do OK?

Dense Standard 7 Newton Concrete Block Grey 100mm

If not what do I need?

And any thoughts what mortar would be best - I'm not bothered about color or anything.

Thanks

7n dense solids will be ok. I prefer to use a cement rich mortar simply because it will hold up better against the weight of the blocks.

3 parts sand to 1 cement plus plasticiser (avery small blob of fairy = half a thimble) ;) .

would that be say 1 normal size bucket of sand/cement and add 1/2 a thimble of washing up liquid?

apologies if I've got that comically wrong!
