Am in the process of gathering info for a 6.2m x 5.6m garage build.
I’m going to use a builder but beforehand want some advice as have had conflicting answers.
1. Blocks to be layed on end or flat. (Ideally on end to save money if feasible)
2. Have been advised to use 7 Newton dense blocks. (7 newton???? as only going to be single story garage, also do I need dense blocks?
3. Am I right in thinking give the whole job to one builder or separate builders for foundation and build?
My way of thinking is if one builder doing all job he’ll make sure foundations are correct for to block on.
