Hi there

I hope someone is able to help me with a very quick question.

I want to install an outside garden tap, and have reviewed the various threads on this subject, so feel suitably informed. One question I could not find an answer to though:

I want to feed of the cold water supply going to my combi boiler, not the pipe going into the boiler (of course) but what I presume is cold mains, used on occasion to top up the sealed CH system. Presumably this is the same cold water pipe that feeds the combi boiler to get heated up to provide me with warm water in the shower in the morning.

Does all this sound true?

thanks in anticipation

Follow the pipe coming off your stoptap which will be your rising main.

That is the pipe to feed your outside tap. :D
