Hello all
I have a single skin brick wall running down one side of the garden. In an attempt to give my kids more room to play I am going to be extending the lawn/garden against this wall - existing garden is about 45cm higher than the base of the wall. This garden will be extended to be up against the wall, all turfed.
Question is - do I need to reinforce this wall? Its in an 'ok' condition and can't really afford to replace it.
If I do need to reinforce it (I think I do!) - how do I do it, considering whatever I do will be hidden by soil/lawn?

Thanks

It may be advisable to make a the wall double skin by building another alongside and bonding it to the existing wall by some mechanical means.
