Hi

Please help. We are selling our house and the buyers solicitor has asked for electric and gas certs for the work we carried out in the kitchen in 2007. Electric-fine no prob. But do we need a gas cert for the cooker, its a range, electric oven/gas hob? Its possible the installer left one, which is 'filled' away.

I've read we don't but also read we do need one? Can anyone confirm either way please.

Thanks

just get a registered installer to do a safety check or a landlords certificate showing its all safe.

Tis all you need. It'll just make your sale go easier. rather than debate if its a legal requirement or not !
