Gas fire balanced flue

Hi i think my flue has some how broke as the fire will not stay lit and i can feel a strong draught coming in from behind the fire via the flue. The fire came with the house and has served me well but i had to fasten it to the wall when we first moved in as it seemed the flue was taking the weight and i think this has done the damage. Can i fit the new flue myself as i am quite handy and how much is a new flue. The fire is a valor home flame.

Hi. I have a knowledge of gas and gas appliances, and would strongly recommend you contact gas engineers. Under certain conditions the fire can omit carbon monoxide via the flue. My advise being call in an engineer to service the appliance and mention the problem when he visits. Good Luck
