Hi,

I've got a gas fire which has a green flame in places. I've not used it for much recently but when i've started it it has a green flame.
Is this safe???
when i move the coal things about the flame turns blue but green elsewhere.
do i just need to keep playing with the coals or get someone out to look at it?

cheers

Probably some sort of cleaning spray or something on it, usually burns off fairly quickly.

many gas fires rely on the coals being "placed" correctly and can run badly when they are not correct.
tell us a bit more about the fire make model etc. and we can advise you better.
