The only time it should be used on internals is when running between buildings of a large property and then it should have a suitable transition fitting to take it to copper or steel best practise being a metre away from where it enters the property
 
Sounds like you will probably need a U16 meter on this if all appliances are going to possibly be run together.

The 837 will use 4m3/hr so that only leaves 2 at the most, so assume the fire will use around 0.75m3/hr that only leaves 1.25 m3/hr for the very large range cooker you say you have.

Chances are your G4 or U6 meter will not be giving the full 6m3/hr anyway.
