Im replacing my rear georgian bay which has rotted away with two french doors and windows above. The current set up is a single door with side returns in a bay and windows above, for some reason the windows have no bars. Im replacing with two french doors, should the windows above have the bars also? Whats your opinions.... better to keep traditional and have bars or simply have clear glass, most neighbours seem to be replacing with clear glass for some reason. I have leaded tops at the front of the house, dont know if when they built the house they thought that georgian bars in the rear tops would be too much?
ps Its a 1930s house.
Would love to hear yr views.

ps I almost meant do full georgian bars in the doors spoil the look of the garden or enhance it?
