I often see posts on people selling cutting boards or similar made of glued-up strips of hardwood ... Maple, Acacia, Cherry, Walnut
I's like to make a couple of these in a custom size.

Anybody know of a good source for such woods, my local timber merchants have loads of structural materials, sheet ply etc., but nothing like this.

Try these .....
or look up these woodturning suppliers among others as they do the type of timbers you are after......

I bought a used oak dining table off eBay as a source of materials.

They are off cuts from kitchen worktops, lots for sale or free on Facebook marketplace.
